Performance on bleach and bleached stains

Tests on blood dilutions treated with bleach (9.6% and 0.48%) show that bleach does not prevent detection with BLUESTAR®.
Even after bleaching and machine washing, bloodstains are still revealed.

Bleach itself creates a brief chemiluminescent reaction, but this can be easily distinguished by a trained eye. The shorter duration of bleach luminescence is a key indicator.

Blood + Bleach + Bluestar

Blood alone / Blood + Bleach + Bluestar + Machine wash

The luminescence has a different color
The reaction intensity is weaker on bleach
The reaction is much shorter on bleach
