Performances on old blood

BLUESTAR® is effective for both recent and historical investigations. It is also widely used in archaeology. It has revealed bloodstains that are thousands of years old.

Key discoveries include:

  • 7,000-year-old camelid blood on lithic artifacts in Argentina (by archaeologist Andrés Romano using BLUESTAR® MAGNUM).
  • Blood from two Confederate soldiers killed at the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863, discovered over 145 years later.
